Labyrinth City
by Pixmain
Based on the children’s book series, Pierre the Maze Detective must embark on a journey through the world to recover the maze stone stolen by Mr. X. Kids guide Pierre through a sequence of incredible mazes, packed with people, vehicles, statues, trees, exhibits, musical bands and so much more, all engaged in a huge variety of activities. The level of detail is stunning, and the animated illustrations are suitably fun and adorable. While the goal is to reach Mr. X, there is much more to explore, by interacting with people and objects along the way, playing mini-games, and finding stars. Labyrinth City is a wonderfully illustrated game for kids and a delight to explore.
People Explorer
by Heiko Henrich
People Explorer lets you visualize the relationships between famous people. Using information from the Wikidata database, you can search for a famous scientist, ruler, or performer and see their connections to other people, including marriages, teachers, employers, whom they influenced or were influenced by, and more. You can tap on each name to open up an image and some brief information about the person, or tap again to open the full wikipedia page. It’s very easy to move through the graph, discovering the connections between people, and their stories through time. It’s a brilliant idea, and it opens up history in a new and fascinating way.
