How do you look up the meaning of a word, or find the correct spelling, when you don’t know how to spell it in the first place, especially as an english language learner or someone who just needs a little help with spelling? Wordspeller ESL Dictionary offers a straightforward solution. Type in a few letters and multiple possible words will appear and you can scan for the right one. For example, typing ‘fiz’ will bring up the words physiology, physics, physician, and more, along with a brief definition of each. The interface is very straightforward, which is great because it makes the app extremely fast to load and use when you need to look up a word.

Space
by Tinybop
Pick a spaceship and blast off to explore the solar system. Space is a graphically rich app that lets kids virtually visit the many planets in the solar system, along with the sun itself. Cutaways show the interior structure of each planet, close ups explore the surface, and you can move around the planet to see the moons. It also has quirky touches such as being able to drop various objects onto each planet to see what will happen. TInybop’s apps are always high quality and this is no exception.
