Puzzle Kids – Jigsaw Puzzles

Puzzle Kids covers the jigsaw puzzle genre well. It includes object identification, shape puzzles and more traditional jigsaw puzzles. Puzzles can be scaled from 4 to 32 pieces to accommodate different ability and age levels. Sounds, graphics and animation are all well done, although the verbal encouragement could be toned down a bit. The app contains many puzzles and more packs can be downloaded for free.

Bobo Police Car is essentially a peek-a-boo app with a police car setting. Kids are presented with a city scene where they can open doors and windows to see the animated animals behind them. They can then take the police car to a bank scene where there are more opportunities to see what the animals are up to, and to catch bank robbers. For toddlers.
