Another huge week has come and gone. We began with an eye-opener about the growing market for children’s technology products. Then, our fears were stoked with articles about wired kids running rampant. Are family-values a thing of the past? Will kids turn into bug-eyed drones who text 24/7?
Ultimately, I believe GREAT PARENTING is key to keeping us on track. By talking at the dinner table, setting examples of politeness and hard work, and by staying involved in what our children are doing online – we can turn struggle and strife into empowerment. I don’t spend my time here at Moms With Apps because I think “apps are the answer”. I’m here because I want us to think about our content choices, and how we use that content in the home. So while Kidoodle Pirate Scribblebeard is FREE this #appfriday, you bet that I’ll be scribbling some doodles of my own, right there alongside my kids. Well scribble-me-timbers…let’s go download!
