Dr. Seuss Deluxe Books packages 17 popular Dr. Seuss books into a single app. Each book is given the deluxe treatment, with animations, evocative narration and word highlighting. Further, kids can tap on individual words to hear them again and help build their reading proficiency. Tapping on images triggers additional animations and shows the name of the image. A star is hidden on each page, and finding the star opens up an activity (puzzle, word hunt, word scramble, memory game, quiz, and more) associated with that page. Many of these features can be turned off, so parents or kids can read the book, and activities can be turned off to help reduce distractions. Additionally, parents are able to keep track of reading time. The app comes with Yertle the Turtle for free, with the remainder available as in-app purchases, or unlocked if you’ve previously purchased the individual book apps. This is an excellent app, and worth downloading for anyone with an interest in Dr. Seuss books.
Logic Puzzle for Kids

Logic Puzzle for Kids is a simple activity app for young kids. Kids can choose from animals, vehicles or fables, and are then presented with the outline of something from that category. Tapping on stars fills in the outline, which then can be coloured in by swiping across the object. Finally, the item breaks into puzzle pieces, which can be reassembled. Contrary to the name, there are no logic puzzles, but the images are well done and younger kids may find it fun.
