Milo and the Magpies is a point-and-click adventure featuring the cat Milo making his way home through backyards while being pestered by magpies (and ultimately learning why). All of the art and animations are hand-painted and look amazing. The game is divided into 9 chapters, each self-contained in a single backyard. The puzzles aren’t too difficult, mostly consisting of tapping on characters, and looking for clues. For those that need a hint, the game links to a walk-through video. Milo and the Magpies is a beautiful game appropriate for kids without all of the usual free-to-play features.

Interactive Toddler
by Benjamin Childs

Interactive Toddler is a digital toy for young kids. A cow and a sheep attempt to kick a soccer ball, which can be dragged around. Bubbles fall from the sky, balloons appear, pigs fly and a bumblebee drifts around. All elements can be interacted with. Occasionally, the app will announce the color of the balloon popped. There aren’t currently any other educational elements, but Interactive Toddler is a fun and colorful toy.
