Kurious presents young kids with a library of books to read in many different languages. Currently, the books focus on preschool topics such as shapes, numbers, animals, and colours, but the app is clearly designed to expand into content for older kids and to expand into many more topics. The developers promise to add new books regularly. The app has a clean, and colourful interface, and the ability to filter books by topic, language and age group. Each book comes with activities, such as colouring, word scrambles, or quizzes, and some books contain animations and narration. Kurious contains books in several languages, making it of interest to kids and parents around the world. Many of the books are currently free with advertisements, and with some available for in-app purchase.

Museum Alive brings five different extinct animals to life in augmented reality. Kids select a skeleton, from the sabre-toothed smilodon, to the flying archaeopteryx, and more, then watch as a living diorama springs up before them in AR and begins to animate. The legendary David Attenborough narrates as the animal moves, lives and hunts. Kids can then click on hotspots in the diorama to bring up pages of facts, images and even videos featuring Attenborough to learn more about the animals and their world. Although limited to five animals, everything in the app is of very high quality, and definitely worth a look for kids interested in animals of the past.
