My Stories is a simple, colourful storybook app with some minor personalized elements. Kids can choose a gender and enter a name, which will given to the main character in the stories, but will not affect the content of the story. The stories are well written, and well-illustrated in a warm, almost painted style. There is minimal animation, and no narration. My Stories does not contain games or puzzles, but instead focuses on presenting stories with minimal distraction, which may in fact be preferable for storytime. One story is available for free with the rest requiring a monthly or yearly subscription.

King of Math is a nautical-themed activity app focussing on numbers. Activities include counting, colouring by numbers, addition, subtraction, matching quantities to numbers, dot to dot, patterns and more. These are dressed up with cute graphics, so kids are not just counting, but counting animals, and not just adding, but finding the right combination to finish loading a pirate ship or matching up pairs of cute creatures. Completing activities earns stars and ranks for your character, plus puzzle pieces used to put together a jigsaw puzzle. The app contains three difficulty levels that are meant to be suited to different aged children, although the activities are the same (mostly involving bigger numbers) across age ranges, and younger kids may enjoy them more than older kids. King of Math is free to try with a single in-app purchase to unlock all content.
