This AR app brings your child’s inherent creative talent to life. It takes their handwritten name from pen and paper and launches it off the page using Augmented Reality. A magic cloud forms over the page and then a rocket or unicorn appears. Their trail traces handwritten letters which seem to levitate off of the page.

Vocabulary Prep helps kids learn words from the 3rd to 6th grade level. It teaches words in groups of ten by presenting the word, then quizzing kids based on the word or the definition, and finally presenting a test where kids are scored on their performance. The design is minimal, but attractive, and there is no sound (which may be a good thing for a study app). The app is free and contains 20 words for each grade level, with links to full apps with hundreds of words per grade level.

Why We Sleep

“Scientists have discovered that broken DNA builds up in brain cells in the daytime and repair work reverses the damage only during sleep.”

We spend a huge portion of our lives asleep. There has to be a very good reason for that, and this could be that reason.
