Welcome to another special edition of App Friday!
First, we’re giving a preview of an upcoming app we’ve been involved with, the wonderful new ReadAskChat, a digital library for children funded by a grant from the National Science Foundation.
Second, iDevBooks is celebrating EIGHT years on the app store, and of course that means four free math apps for all of you!
Plus, you can top it all off by creating party outfits and composing tunes with the brand new Nampa Party.

ReadAskChat is a highly curated, beautifully illustrated, digital library that provides parents and caregivers of children six months to four years with all the guidance they need to lay a strong foundation for reading and love of learning. Free Apps for iDevBooks Anniversary
On November 17, 2009, iDevBooks released their first app (Column Addition) on the App Store. Eight years later, they have 40 highly regarded math apps. To celebrate, they are setting the four apps in their Place Value series free for everyone on both the Apple App Store and the Microsoft Windows Store.
Each app uses a clean, attractive design to visually show place values (thousands, hundreds, tens and ones) and how to regroup numbers to perform addition, subtraction, division and multiplication.
All apps are free this Friday November 17th (regularly $3.99).
Visit www.idevbooks.com to see their entire selection of educational apps.
