App Friday: Happy Mother’s Day!

Welcome to App Friday, our weekly link exchange of family-friendly apps. We have another long list, just in time for Mother’s Day. Joining us are Marcel with his new sight words app, Scott with just-released rhyming app, Evan with themed puzzle apps, Sudhakar with grade level apps, SmarTots with an educational app from China, and Emmy with phonics apps. There is an also an app for MOMS called the Woven Photo Viewer, with a sweepstakes for a pair of Barnes &  Noble Nooks. Are you on Android? No worries, I’ve split the post to reflect apps for Android in addition to Apple’s iOS. A first!

  1. I think its a great step forward to include Android apps in the App Friday post. I think Android apps will become increasingly relevant with all the new android tablets being released for children, and many developers are looking to this platform as a new frontier. I am hoping to release Math Evolve for the Android platform soon. Thanks for pioneering within this new space and leading the movement to create excellent apps for kids.

    Sincerely,
    Adam Coccari
