Welcome to Freaky Friday (a.k.a. App Friday). As ghosts and goblins spook our iDevices, there is rumbling beneath us. Developers are trying to establish their business models, while parents are wading through the implications of mobile media. Several companies are positioning themselves as family-friendly solutions for cutting through the app store clutter. Meanwhile, we have teachers who are saturated with ABC apps, but can’t find apps for math and language arts targeted to middle-schoolers. It’s time to get the haunted house in order. Developers, mark Friday Dec. 2nd on your calendar for an MWA Summit, details will be posted in the forum.
