Juno Lamb Saves the Ocean
by Appelsin Apps
Juno Lamb Saves the Ocean is a simple app for toddlers and preschoolers centered around keeping the ocean clean. Fish, crabs, submarines and more glide past while recyclables occasionally fall (or appear somewhere depending on the difficulty level) into the water and these need to be caught and recycled before they hurt the ocean life. Most things are interactive, so things make noises, blow bubbles, or speed up across the screen. There are three difficulty levels to make things more hectic for older or more proficient kids.
Fun English | Learn English
by Studycat Limited
Fun English is a comprehensive preschool/kindergarten level learning app covering a wide variety of topics from colors, animals, numbers, letters and more with an emphasis on learning words and spelling. Each topic has multiple activities, including memory games, spelling, songs, and more. There’s a lot of content and a good amount of variety in activities to keep kids interested. Design, graphics, sound and voiceovers are all quite good. You can try a small number of activities for free, but the full app requires a monthly or yearly subscription (with a 7 day free trial).
iPad Apps to Use in 1:1 Classrooms
It’s no surprise that the apps recommended are either flexible creative tools or facilitate management and communication between students and teachers.
