The Game of Life Vacations
by Marmalade Game Studio

Vacations is a take on the classic board game transported to a volcanic island. Players visit tourist spots, take pictures, collect post cards and find items during their trip around the island. The player with the most vacation points wins, but the fun is in the playing and finding all of the animations, cards and objects. Everything is animated in a playful cartoony style and the game is well suited to playing together with friends and family.

Times Table Multi-Flyer
by Gabrielle De Freitas

Help protect the dream world in a game of skill meant to take the repetitiveness out of practicing multiplication tables. It feels like a first app from an indie developer, but presents an interesting take on learning math. The game involves moving a bobbing character around the screen to collect the right number and discard others, and takes a bit of skill and practice even when you know the right answer. Navigation could be better (the game tutorial plays immediately upon starting the app and there’s no way to get back to it). After playing the game, there’s a quiz to reinforce the math concepts. Free to try, with an in-app for the whole game.
